I tried this product about a years back and i didnt really think it made much differnce to me energy bill (may have just been me) anyway now i actually have tinted windows because the sunlight actually damaged my carpet before.

I have used similar products for my home in NY when I lived there to help keep some of the heat in on those cold winter nights. Now I live in FL and have many windows and there is always natural sunlight. This window film works great and I’ve had the chance to use it to keep heat out as well as in.

Wow now this is something that I could so use both at home and at the office there is nothing better than having the warmth of the African sun but it does have it moments when it is just too hot and you just cant get away from it especially in summer, so this would be perfect. I really am enjoying this site, interesting and informative.

This is great stuff to have on ones windows, not only does it have UV protection, but it helps with the moderating the level of light and sun getting in, great for those rooms that get far too much light.

Window film is an excellent alternative to insulating your window at a low cost in comparison to regular energy efficient windows.

This is something that I have never heard of I think that this is a fantastic product and something that would really be beneficial in sunny South Africa, its great to see that not only does it keep out heat in summer but also retains the heat in winter, something that we need here in South Africa.

I put up the tinted window film made by Energy Film, and I love it. It was easy to put up because it doesn’t have adhesives plus it has 98% UV protection. It didn’t darken the room as much as I thought it might, which is really nice. It really helps to keep the morning sun from ‘cooking’ my breakfast room.

Great idea and good to see people helping the environment and making some money at the same time! Does the film pick up dust easily? I worry that it would be hard to clean. Im sure its great value, though, for the energy savings that you’ll make.

Interesting….but in the summertime and help reduce winter heat loss by keeping between 35% to 40% of the heat inside the home during the winter time. I would have thought it would have been no good in the winter as you would want to let the solar heat in.

This is great to see an invention like this that can contribute to overcoming the factors that are contributing to the carbon footprint in the environment. You are right in saying that the natural light is alot better for us. It is natural for us to have the lighter skin when in the UK. Also, the increased use of double glazing in doors and materials shows that the world is moving in a more green direction.

This is a great product that can really help people save money. I’ve looked into it myself and love the concept of it. Unfortunately I don’t own my own home so I can’t try it out yet. Hopefully soon.
