Welcome the the Affiliate
Resources Area. Here you will find all the banner and text
links you will need for your website along with tips and advice
on how to improve your sales conversion ratio. To get
started:
1. Copy one of the text links or
banners
Many affiliates use both text links AND
banners to link to www.RemodelingReconKitchenPlans.com from multiple areas on their websites and in
their email messages. Don't hesitate to use these promotions
in more than one place. Remember, the more people that see the
Remodeling Recon links....the more people that click on the
links....the more people that make a purchase....the more money you
get!
Banners are by far THE MOST COMMON WAY
PEOPLE LINK TO MY SITE. Most affiliates have a banner on the home
page of their website, plus a few more on other pages on the
site.
Use your HTML editing software to paste
the HTML code into your website or an HTML e-mail for your customers
and clients or newsletter subscribers.

2. Add your unique affiliate link to the
promotion
Make sure to replace the text
"YOUR AFFILIATE
ID" in
the HTML code with your own personal affiliate
ID.
Now, the promotion is set up to track
your site visitors. Every time one of your visitors clicks the
promotion and makes a purchase, you'll receive a
commission!
3. Put up the
promotion
On your home page, I recommend
that you place the banner:
- as close to the top of the
page as possible, OR
- close to the main navigation
links for your site.
These are the locations on your home
page that most visitors look at first, so your banner will probably
perform better if you place it in these locations.
I also recommend testing banners
in different locations on your site from time to time. Try
moving a banner to a new location for a month, then see if your
number of referred sales increases or decreases for that
month. This way, you can learn where the most effective banner
locations are....and cash in on that knowledge!

You can also customize the
text links to say exactly what you want them to say.
<a
href="URL"></a> creates a
hyperlink.
An example would
be: <a href="http://YOUR AFFILIATE ID.rrecon.hop.clickbank.net">An Amazing eBook !</a>. It would look like: An Amazing eBook!
Text links are a very effective
alternative to banner ads.
If people are searching for information
on a topic, they are more likely to click a text link than a banner
ad. You can use this knowledge to your advantage by placing
text links where they will appeal to these searchers.
For example, you can incorporate text
links into an article, a product review or a personal
recommendation. I have found that this is an extremely
powerful strategy for generating more click-throughs and
sales!
Try including text links:
- On your home page
- On your "links" page
- In articles and other content on your
site
- In your site's main navigation
links
.... and anywhere else you think will
be effective.
And just like with the banners,
test these text links by moving them to different locations on your
site, then checking to see whether your number of referred sales
increases or decreases.
4. Check your affiliate
account site and watch the sales come rolling
in!
As a ClickBank affiliate, you have
unlimited access to a secure, password-protected affiliate account
site. You can log in at any time and visit this site
to:
- Review and edit your personal
information
- Check how many visitors have clicked
through your promotions to visit the Remodeling Recon site
- Review the commissions you have
earned!
To visit your affiliate account site,
go to:
.... and enter your Affiliate ID
and password.
